The bullying subject matter was difficult to read. We are experiencing technical difficulties. It is very well written and it had a little suspense in it. Most days I take a nap, which I tend to do with a book on my chest, whether or not I was actually reading it before I fell asleep. Personally, I can not find anything I do not like about this book!

Oct 17, Lejla rated it did not like it. She gets mean girls, she gets people with non-traditional family dynamics. Elise has always lived in the big house with her loving Uncle and Aunt, because Elise’s parents died when she was too young to remember them.

It’s when someone pushes us to figure it out that we think maybe something is wrong.

I fell in love with this book. Anyway, I really liked how it was a mystery, but it was also not really like a murder mystery. Adjusting to a new school becomes even harder when Elise has to adjust to a new baby in the house as well after her aunt moves in.


And the main character was also annoying.
