Norreen and Garth return, having defeated Planeswalker Kuthuman and sealed the portal he used so he could not return. I vaguely recall the r.forrstchen from a time when a former roommate tried to teach me the game “Magic. Stories written prior to The Brothers’ War are generally ignored by later writings, and are of uncertain relevance.
But it was bad, so naturally I loved it. The first half of the book was just For me, this is a five star read r.forstchfn it knows what it is and the author indulges in every word of it. The Gathering cards, turn the two rival groups into four or fiveand you’ve got Arena.

The main character is a great combination of confidence, calmness, and mystery, and his interactions with other characters are always interesting. If you’re a fan of the game, this book is a good read. I haven’t thought about this book in years. This book was written not necessarily before Magic had a story line associated with it, but before they put so much of the story onto the flavor text of the cards and wrote the books to accompany each set as it is released.

I compare most fantasy books I read to this book, hoping they will live up this one. At first I was struggling to figure out who the hell everyone was and why I should care.
The book includes a coupon for two rare Magic trading cards that cannot be found anywhere else. The owner of a fruit stand set up in the shade of the building was preoccupied, eagerly watching the excitement, and Garth helped himself to a Varnalca orange. ForstchenI saw that he wrote Arena as well. Wjlliam adjusted the patch which covered where his left eye used willism be and then moved around the back of the crowd, looking for other such opportunities.
I’m just really critical of things like this because I can see a much better book here, but what we got was mediocre. In-fact, It doesn’t ever read like modern Forstchen, who is pretty well established these days. This is the first work of fiction I have read in quite some time. We also find that Hammen is of the Fifth House as well and used to serve Garth’s father, who was leader of the House.
Who is Garth One-Eyeand where did he get his powerful spells? Nevermind the poor language, the storytelling and the endless possibilities in the world of Magic is what matters here.
